Guys,

Perhaps I'm just a naiive, but can someone explain what has happened to our half back line? I can't count how many times I watched Port stream forward with NONE of our players anywhere near our defensive 50-meter arc.

Isn't someone supposed to be there? Are they all pushed that far up forward? How can the full back line expect to stop anything coming inside if there's nobody on that line?

because as our half backs try to run the footy up through the center handballing it between each other they mess it up and turn the ball over. Which means they have to turn around and chase tails and port had clean entry into their forwards or could just have a kick from 40 out...
When it works it is a very exciting fast style of football... Shame is we dont have the players to do it

I cant remember anytime we have been this bad at retaining the footy...

I'm no footy expert, but I've seen diagrams of a footy field explain the positions...

I'm pretty sure the half back line is somewhere in the vicinity between the full back line, and the centre

Except there is no such thing as full backs or centremen these days

Don't really care where they stand as long as they hit a bloody target now and then!
