Maybe we have got a father son from the great man himself after all .My god watching the bullants today made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up
to watch josh kennedy taking those pack marks .Brought back memories of early 1986 of a strapping young crow eater who would latter become the legend that now is STICKS .Thank you collingwood pick 2 & hawthorn pick 3 for handing up such an excitng young player to the mighty blues.Wayne hughes was right he rated Marc Murphy & Josh Kennedy as the best 2 players in the draft.
The reserection has begun & when we return my friends all will feel the pain.

Don't need pagan's paddock. Put kennedy at CHF and watch him take control!!!

GO BLUES!!

Gee he must have been impressive today. What was his opposition like?

North Ballarat honestly didn't apply too much pressure, however he just looked so comfortable. The thing that impressed me was he didn't hesitate to throw his body into a contest and looks like he can take a grab cause most of his marks were contested.

Thanks BG.

I'm sure once he bulks up over the summer and develops even further, it might not be that far away that he's taking big contested marks at AFL level. Lots to look forward to.

The couple of guys i'm looking forward to having a look at is Bower and Hartlett, who are both unfortunately injured at the moment. Hartlett should be back soon, but Bower is still a month or so away.

I'm hoping Hartlett will get a chance later in the year at senior level, and depending on how Bower recovers from his knee, hopefully he'll get a chance to.

Yeah, have heard good things about both players but haven't seen them play yet.

I would like to see Chris Bryan given a go this year as well. I think he showed great potential last year and is a possible CHB for us. Big body and beautiful kick, something we lack in our backline.

both boys will most probably get a chance this year. Harts definitely will, but Bower's chances all depend on how he rcovers from his injury and how long it takes him to regain match fitness and confidence with the bullants.

I am hopeful that these two will be our FB and CHB in 1 1/2 or 2 years time.

Certainly had a good start last year. Unfortunately has a bit of an attitude problem and needs to pull his head in if Pagan is going to play him at AFL level.

His attitude problem is probably because of Pagan not playing him!!

I'm not sure of that. I heard about his attitude problem over the preseason, and i'm pretty sure he played most of the second half of 2005. Have you heard something different?

Watching him take those marks and kicking straight made me hard as well! :D

Thankyou Collingwood and Hawthorn. :)

A lot of Josh's contested marks were taken running across the pack a la Royce Hart of Richmond in the 60's and 70's. And we all know (some of the older members) how good he was as a CHF?

Was at the game and what got me so excited was his ability to time his leap...I think that is probably the hardest thing to teach...no point being tall if you can't do that. They also had a tall guy on him, so he didn't just take those marks because of height mismatches. Very exciting.

No I haven't heard anything different, that is just my opinion. In saying that, if I am right and that is his problem then I can hardly blame him! He should be played in the seniors and I would be dirty as well if I was him. He is better than Livingston!

Taped the game, so I'll press play very soon and watch.

Fast forward it to the third quarter

Kennedy was just a sight to see... and watching the bullants this year has really helped ease a lot of my pain and have lots to look forward too...

In regards to Bryan... Aker has attitude but he is allowed to cos he can show his worth on field... perhaps Pagan should give Bryan an ultimatum... give him a few games and if he can prove himself he can have as much attitude as possible... if he can't back it up.... get out!

I hope Bryan is playing for us over the next few years and killing to opposition!

Go BLUES

Something has to be done and perhaps an ultimatum is the answer but I hope Bryan is playing in the seniors soon otherwise another club will snap him up and reap the benefits

I thought Royce was overrated but that's because I only ever saw him play on Bruce 'Hartbreaker' Doull. And I think Carey would have Hart for lunch..

I didn't see that game when Doull played on Carey ;)

On another player, did Raso play?

I seriously doubt that another AFL club would touch him.
