Hi all,

Just curious I notice alot of posters making comments about North ending up in the Gold Coast or broke as a way to get back at the North supporter in an arguement which is fine.

What I would like to know is in all honesty how do you actually wish for the Kangas to go extinct, Gold Coast or stay in Melbourne.

Where would I like them to end up? Stay in Melbourne and prosper, but I don't know how realistic a proposition that is.

Ok the question is what would you prefer regardless of the reality, in a perfect world what would be your preference.

As much as I hate some of the idiotic north melbourne supporters here on BF I would like north to remain in melbourne, same goes for every other victorian side as at the moment I think this is the best set up.

Below Essendon on the ladder? :)

In seriousness though, it would be a real shame if they were forced to relocate or merge with another club. It could be the end of a lot of history. Clubs like Brisbane and Sydney although they have roots to long established teams haven't really shown that they have much of a link to the past and i think its a shame to lose that historical significance. At the end of the day though it will all come down to whether they are financially viable in the current market.

id like to see them stay. and for the AFL to bring back Fitzroy. with the national draft working so well, Fitzroy could take a couple of years on the bottom and build themselves into a force once again. it could be done...

What should Brisbane and Sydney be doing that they're not doing in relation to "linking" with the past?

Should Brisbane relocate to the Brunswick St Oval and call themselves the Maroons?

Someone is likely going to have to relocate from Victoria to the Gold Coast. They are all bad scenarios, IMHO.
