What is "YOU?"

I strongly doubt that the ego survives death.

However, "your" atoms carry on existing and transforming. If "you" can claim "your" atoms as "your" property.

Athiests all simply have to believe in reincarnation by virtue of being athiest.

i.e. if we are simply the sum of the molecules and particles that make up our body (even though we completely replace all the cells in our body multiple times throughout our life) then statistically speaking, over a long enough period of time, that exact same makeup of particles and molecules would HAVE to come together in the exact same fashion again - ergo, reincarnation becomes a statistical certainty.

But I'm not sure personally. I like the buddhist way of looking at things. We have a soul that goes through multiple life times in order to learn enough about existence that we can move on to a higher plane of consciousness.

Nietzsche's famous "eternal recurrence". An interesting theory.

Eye-opening video, that.

For what it's worth Ben passed away on Christmas Day, so condolences go out to his friends and family. If what he's saying is the complete truth then I'd imagine he's pretty happy right now.

Still doesn't make sense, of course, the whole afterlife and heaven thing.
