Caracella.

Loved the bloke.

That mark he took against Geelong sprinting back with the flight of the ball at the MCG in his debut season- 1997 I think.

He had me there.

I remember that. It was a awesome mark, thought it was round 99 though, but I could be wrong. Dont know why he has been traded so many times, he would still be in most sides best 22 even today, he has performed well at every club he has played for. Heard Lloydy on SEN on saturday morning saying that he was going to caracella's wedding that night and that he was looking forward to catching up with blake, heff and some of the others.

When i was 5 i had G. Anderson on my back, then i got Wanganeen, then Caracella, afta Cara left i decided never to buy a jumper again.
I want monfries, but im too afraid.

Yep. Wanganeen, He hurt us immeasurably the little bar steward.

Tried to console myself by saying when he left, "Well you'll never win another flag, Wanganeen". Hmm, wrong!

His departure notionally cost us a flag or two I reckon. Prick. You don't win a Brownlow and a flag and bolt.

Tore the heart out of me. He was fearless. He was a champion Essendon player.

Lol get a 3 or a 23 please :D

Yeah in order...

Wanganeen - Oh how I wished he stayed, though Ill take our 00 flag over Ports 04 one. Bloody champion and no doubt we would have got another flag or 2 if he stayed

Caracella - Never appreciated how good he really was. Though I knew midway through 02 that he was headed to brisbane. His gf was a friend of a girl i worked with and she told me. Kinda crappy to know where ur goin before the seasons even over

Derek Kickett - poor bloke

Damian Hardwick - our defense went to hell after he left

wanganeen. was my favourite player. but he was also our second best player as well. it's been shattering to watch some of the football he has played for port since he left (especially the 2004 GF)

Hardwick easily - just loved the way he played - I was barracking for him in the 2004 Granny - not Port.

Blumfield - we destroyed his career.

Wanganeen - only becasue I said he would never leave such a great club - tool.

Olarenshaw and Salmon- much the same as Blumfield.

We didn't destroy Salmon. Really enhanced his reputation as a ruckman while playing for the Hawks.

Yes - sorry should have been more clear with him, more to do with the way we handled his exit liek the other two.

and the only reason we enhanced his career is because that ninkompoop known as the coach wanted Sommerville to ruck instead of Salmon. Tell me how that works, or how it ever did?

Yeah. That wasn't cricket at all.

I have no idea. None at all.
Salmon was an excellent full-forward, though.
