Whinging North Supporters

Talk about sore losers.
I'm not saying the umpiring was perfect.
But to suggest that North were 'the better team' as some have is plain stupid.

I'm not going to do the ridiculous 'I've lost respect for North supporters' comment, as I know not all of them are like this.
I will simply supply some threads (if anybody cares to read) to show how childish this select crop are being.

Yeah its pathetic. My mind just boggled as to why they thought they deserved to win. Geelong beat them in almost every statistic you could throw into the game. Its weird. Freo supporters I could understand for feeling robbed because they should have won that, we were very very lucky. However tonights game we were in front 90% of the time and everytime they got close we would pull away again.

Just don't understand it.

...I couldn't quite make this game, but last game at the Dome they (Roos fans) would just not give it up, despite getting pummelled fair and square.

It's nearly ten years since their last flag, they should remember that. Can't win important games any more. Lots of gallant defeats that if you add up, equal a bunch of blokes with completion anxiety I reckon. (Probably doesn't help they are short quite a few million, it's amazing they can perform as well as they do I suppose).

They are nothing compared to the disgusting anti Geelong commentary that Gary Lyon consistantly gives on triple M. There have been two times in the last month that I have had to listen to the radio commentary before the game appears on tv and Garys bias has had me thinking the game was not going to be decent only to watch the game and find that his calling is terribly inaccurate.
Giving Scarlo points for being the one of the worst on ground when he played so little and was injured is a joke.
I suggest that Mr Lyon is the one getting his pants pulled down every week on the radio and not J Bartel as he claims.

I thought we did well with the umpires in the last quarter but the decisions were relatively consistent up until then. I was standing on the wing behind the bays of North members and they bloody screamed 'ball!' after every tackle and they wanted a free kick in every contest. Every time one was paid against them this maniac almost had a brain aneurysm and let fly with the most disguting whingeing I've ever seen. Somehow, twenty seconds later the umpires weren't "soft" anymore though when North goaled as a result of a free.
