Tivendale's gone so that's one less we have to worry about but we still have the following players to consider.

Andrew Raines: Wonderful and a much required player at the RFC but may find it hard to weasel back into the starting 22. IMO we keep him but he also looms as trade currency.

Graham Polak: Serious head injuries. Likewise for the Richmond Board. Severe consideration required here.

Jarrod Oakley-Nicholls: IMO He's had his chance. Ineffective possessions. Clumsy. Skinny. IMO He is going.

Danny Meyer: I am not sure but i heard he has had a solid year at Coburg. I can't see him returning to the starting 22. He is potential trade bait. But he's worth holding on to.

Jake King: 2007- Gun, 2008- :thumbsd:. His 2007 season may save him but he shouldn't be feeling safe nor should he be pleased with his performances in his games.

Chris Hyde: Alright perfomances. Inconsistent. Had his chances. Has been on the brink od delisting for a couple of years now almost dead certainty to go.

Travis Casserly: He was a potent weapon to the Coburg midfield in '07. Unsure about this season. Any Updates.

Collins/Gourdis: I no nothing about these guys except there handy. Opinions.

Hughes/Graham/Coughlan: I think they're save. Comment otherwise.

If anyone has any comment/update on the above let me know thanks.

Raines If anything will be traded to GC17 next year.... Even though i think he can do a better job the Jordan...

Please keep hughes out of any delist or trade boards.. Hes a keeper. thanks =D

Both on equal par with each other,they turnover the ball when under pressure.

Who indeed? Tivendale, Hyde, Pettifer, King, Polak, Meyer, Raines, JON, Pattison, Graham, McGuane, Schulz, Johnson, Hughes, Bowden, Jackson, Polo, McMahon, Howat, Silvestor, Cartledge.

I wouldn't bat an eye lid if we moved any of these players on.

None of the bold will go ? on pettifer as they promised him a contract.

Not sure of the contract situation, but the following players should go (at a minimum):

* Pettifer
* JON
* Tivendale
* Hyde
* Graham

Delist:

Casserly, JON, Pettifer, Hyde, Tivendale, King (Trade if possible)
totally agree but i think we should rookie list both jon & casserly and hopefully the afl will also let us rookie polak as well.

that would give us 6 possitions on the list & we would have
polak
casserly
jon
collard on the rookie list with the chance to give these guys another year or two to show why they were recruited without taking up space on the senior list & give them a reasonable chance to develope.

I'd think the more realistic view would be that Tivendale, Pettifer, Hyde and King would be gone, as well as Sylvestor and Howat off the rookie list.

Like the idea of rookie listing Casserly and JON, both deserve more time at the club but can't justify a spot on the senior list on production. Some might call it rookie list clogging, especially if Polak ends up there as well. Not sure where this would leave Collard if the Club is seriously considering the recruitment of an Irishman. Casserly seems to have the talent but needs to get his body right and who knows with JON, he may be a late developer or just a dud.

Is the rookie list restricted to just 4 by the AFL or is it more a financial constraint that has forced the Tigers into 4 rookies the last few seasons???

Tivendale, Hyde, King to go as well. One of Cartledge or Graham will also go if we trade for a ruckman....my bet would be on Cartledge.

Good post. Good idea with the rookie listings of JON and Cass. I think though we should try and trade JON back to the west for an improved second round pick. Guessing Freo have on in the low 20's. We give them pick 26 and JON for a low 20's pick.

Must delist Tivendale, Hyde, and King. King despite being great at some things was crucified this year by the small forwards he played on. Pettifer should go too. Couldn't make the side when he should have been at the peak of his powers and must go.

Shulz should also be put up for trade. has not had an impact on games consistently. a pick in the low 30's would suffice. Port should jump as they need key position and he has been linked with them before.

Hold Raines. May do a Rodan on us and if we are going to let him go it must be to GC17 for one of their many high picks. A pick in the high teens should be the goal.

Some good work there mate. Although I would rather keep Casserly on the main list because he is already contracted and because he is the next Moore in my opinion. He will relegate McMahon back where he belongs.

Surely you are joking about McGuane.

100% agree :thumbsu: and it does seem the most realistic too.
Why should we delist JON when hes only 20 yet the above 6 are all much older than him and have been given enough games to prove themselves.
