Essendon fans, if your older players are doing nothing in your wins as you say, why don't you drop them all? (Obviously besides your captain lloyd)

ummm....because young guys can learn from them, because although they may not be the most influential on the field, they may still have a good positive impact and because they play well enough to earn a spot in the team.

What a stupid question

Players aint gonna learn jack shit from them in a match if they are supposedly having no influence. Come on, omit your older players like Melbourne have, and let your youngsters go at it by themselves, as that will be your future. Lucas, Lloyd and Fletcher won't be around when Essendon next make finals, and they are hindering the development of your youth.

How are they hindering their development? THey play because of their leadership and still have the potential to be match winners. You don't just drop a quartet of veteran stars to bring in untried youth, it is a gradual process clearly. Plus, when most of your youth are injured, you can't play them anway. You put the best cattle available on the field to win any given game. People on this site are too youth obsessed. Players may as well give it away at 25 if you believe half the crap people write on here.

Why bring my club into it?
Everything i said was true. No need to do the typical essendon response:

"Oh coming from a <insert team name here> supporter!"

Your post confuses me. I just asked people to vote. All I did was ask you a comment with no malice intended just a humourous poke for shits and giggles and you go off. Perhaps you're reaction is a little unreasonable? Just asking.

What a dumbass poll? You seek people's opinion and then bag them:confused:

Essendon supporters???

Actually knobbo, I just wanted your vote, not your opinion. A vote is a simple click on a button, whilst an opinion requires a comment.
I don't remember asking for anyone's comment, which of course you can do that's you're right and some of which have been more than fine and have added to the thread as a whole, but thank you for your shit one nonetheless.
Oh and I called you knobbo because you're a knob, not because you barrack for the Pies.
Keep up the good work:thumbsd:

Just because Essendon are doing poorly now doesn't mean we should pity them, unless its when you are talking to an Essendon supporter cause nothing irks them more than letting them know you pity them...

Collingwood are no longer offensive, Essendon still remain smarmy captain good guy types despite being terrible.

imo.

I hate you and yet I love you at the same time.:D

Gotta ask this. How many Pies fans voted for Collingwood just so they can continue to say their the most hated club?

Nah. Hating Collingwood is the old fashioned thing to do, the bit of recieved wisdom. Live in the now.

There are practical reasons to hate Essendon more than any other side. Think about all those times you hear a stupid pronouncement concerning how good Esse-don are and how they is gonna beat everyone. The loudmouthed supporter without a clue is inevitably a fairweather fan of the red and black, FACT!. It goes back to the schoolyard days when the kids choose teams based on colours ;).

The Pies are always good for a laugh, because they just don't have any successful years, and always come up with a funny excuse why they failed.
Failure? Do you know what failure is? Failure would be a team that has *won* three wooden spoons in five years. That is Carlton, while Collingwood haven't even *won* that many in 111 seasons! Failure is losing to mediocre Essendon twice in a season. Failure would also be losing to St.Kilda 11 times in succession. That is Carlton. In fact, Carlton has *won* more wooden spoons in the past 20 years than St.Kilda! Carlton has also *won* more wooden spoons than premierships in the past 25 years!

They have recruited three number one draft picks and Chris Judd, yet have still lost more matches than they have won. Carlton are such a failure that even you hoped they would lose matches last season because you're so used to the feeling of losing! Carlton may have beaten Collingwood twice this season after a few years of Collingwood dominance over Carlton, and that was disappointing to drop two matches against such inferior opposition, but I would rather lose to Carlton twice and be within half a game of 4th spot than beat Carlton twice and be one game and percentage from 8th spot any day of the week!

Maybe Carlton will beat Sydney next week though, and just remember this; if that happens, then Carlton will be doing Collingwood a favour! If Collingwood beats North Melbourne, then they will be 4th. Come on the wooden spoon champion Blues and beat the Swans next week! :thumbsu:

You were always going to lose loser.:D

See you during the week dude. hehehe

I'd have to actually say the Bombers fans give me the shits more than the Collingwood ones do!

As much as I prefer to be playing the pies and it's more exciting, the actual Essendon supporters really make me hate them.

They whinge for the umpiring all night long rather than support their club but the Collingwood supporters whinge about everything except for the fact that their team was beaten by a better side on the day/night when they lose.

Essendon....just.
