Ok we all know how happy each of the recruiting managers are and how surprised they all were that pick x and y were still available.

But the truth is, some teams really lucked out tonight and did a very poor job selecting spuds in favour of guns.

So who lost the draft?..

Yes I would have happily commenced with my own thoughts but knew the proceeding barage would be hard to fend off. No doubt we were low but not at the bottom.

Still.. Cook is a good pick given what we need - and take a look at Howe's highlight reel..

I cant look past Richmond myself. Some of the talent they went past for Conca is staggering. And who the other guys are.. well..

Dunno, but sometimes I think Bay13 could do with some pre-prepared generic forms for use in trolling.

In this case, we could use something like:

"<Team X> really ****ed up in the draft tonight. I can't believe they went for <Player A> and let <Player B> slip through to <Team Y>.

where:

<Team X> is the team you're trolling;
<Player A> is someone you'd never heard of before <Team X> picked her up;
<Player B> is another player you'd never heard of before but who is, for the purposes of this troll, a deadset gun in the making; and

While I have never watched an u18 game in my life I am 100% convinced that each and every one of our draft picks is the steal of the draft and will be critical in our next premiership which will happen in precisely 4 years from now when they blossom into the brownlow prospects that they clearly all are, and I cant believe they fell to us.
