now that we have 2 gun all aussie full backs in michael and fletcher who would u rather at full back...

michael would be good because of his strength and cause fletcher has gone forward before but on the other hand can we take fletcher away from there because he has done the job for us so many times. he is one of the best full backs along with michael so it will be a hard choice

My thinking too. He's almost FB or nothing. Be interesting to see how far away from the goals we're to play Fletcher though.

I disagree with that and can think of no reason why he couldn't play CHB.
I can remember him being moved to CHB a few times with Brisbane, just can't remember the outcome.
FB is probably his best position, but i am a fan of a big strong CHB, and he fits that mould perfectly, and imo, would be the perfect match up for Tredrae and those big strong CHF's that given Fletch so much trouble in the past.

Both would do brilliant jobs stopping the opposition FF.
Fletcher has proven that for over a decade.
Michael has stopped the BEST FF (Lloyd) on a few occasions so he isn't bad either...

I don't think it is simply a matter of position. In the end the positions will be based on matchups. For example, If the fullforward is a quick player (Mark Williams or Scott Welsh for example) then Fletch will be more likely to get them. If it is someone like Fevola or Hall, then Mal gets them. Even if Mal gets dragged away from FB, he should still have the pace to match it with these sorts of guys, and even if he feels less comfortable, the further up the ground he gets, the more help we will have against the forward.
