The Bruce Lehrmann media frenzy has seen Australian commercial media eating their own. Always a good spectator sport for those keen to see a return to journalistic integrity but at the moment it's just about networks trying to tear down each other's reputation for commercial advantage. And the Murdoch press - whose Australian newspaper and their right wing columnist Janet Albrechtsen has been, imho, the grubbiest and most partisan of all the media outlets in the Lehrmann scandal - seems to be untouchable.

When will the Australian Government finally take action on media ethics and responsibility? My guess is never, given how intertwined media owners are with the political class.

yep! to his holiday home. but, but, but the cookers lap up his drivel and made him a multi millionaire. not bad for a pseudo journalist.

the murdoch media also has blood on their hands. zionists have had control of the narrative for ages. and when there’s resistance they call on their ‘mates’ for help and they organise, threaten, and intimidate anyone who dares criticise israel. a rogue state that thinks rules and ordinary honesty and decency don’t apply to them.
