He only prefers boards that have solid backup plans before knifing their previous coach. As opposed to:

1. Sack coach
2. ???
3. Roos = profit!!!

Would make a lot of people happier if we knew who isn't going to be the coach

The only reason for the delay is the candidate (Tudor) is still involved with current commitments so cannot be named for leagal reasons until current position was expired.

Do you know this as a fact?

I'm not the least bit concerned if our new coach is an ex Lion/Bear....would we knock back Choco or Ross Lyon for that reason?

re Leppa....if he is appointed, I feel it is showing a complete lack of confidence in his ability to be a senior coach if it has to be a succession model with, god forbid, Neil Craig (or anybody for that matter) as his guide into the job.....particularly if Leigh is around the place for advice if he feels he needs it..

Leppa has been to other clubs, and worked around some good coaches and would know the ropes enough by now to have a go at the big job by himself imo....

Really? Simpson was one of my first thoughts after Roos, and then I went and looked up more on the swans assistant and liked what I saw in Tutor

Dean Warren was on 4BC a few minutes ago. I missed the beginning of the interview but he continued to say that no decision has been made and all applicants interviewed well.
