Why does anyone consider that such an act should trigger new freedoms for Gaza and the Palestinian in israel ?

US losing the moral high ground both internally and externally
An expansionary colonial state openly doing the ethnic cleansing is a mask off moment, many of us filthy commies have been saying this for years
I liked the rebels in star wars. Destruction of the death star, though a massive waste of resources and sentient beings, was justified
I barrack for Afghanistan against England in the cricket and follow Freo
I would join the resistance(no matter how morally questionable) if my home was occupied
Israelis and Palestinians look the same to me, so there's no in group feelings
General distrust of religion, particularly the abrahamic ones
Photos of dead kids hits in the feels
I rate middle eastern food

Some people feel the world is unjust and it could be made better, others are happy with the current set up. Difficult to condemn fighters for those in the former, easy to support a regional hegemon for those in the latter

I think if we could look at the planning pre op it'd be something like break wall, hit the two close military bases that staff our oppressors, take some hostages for swaps and bring the violence to the Israelis

He was clearly saying (and his point was) 'we should not normalize genocides and massacres' not 'lets sit back and revel in the carnage of genocide'.
