Will collingwood grab a ex player in draft?

Anybody rate Daniel Currie? I have not kept any tabs on him.
I heard them talking him up on trade week radio, but then he was delisted...

I am starting to warm to the idea of drafting Fev. He would fill that 3rd forward role beautifully in combination with Cloke and Dawes. Would form such a potent forward line. Imagine Fev kicking 6 goals against Carlton!
Of course he is some risk with his propensity to self-destruct but at 30 and on his last chance I think he will grab his opportunity with both hands and wouldn't let the club down. The upside is massive and we would get him very cheap so really there is very little to lose if it doesn't work out.

Get Fev!

I'm actually beginning to warm to it too but I doubt we'd have the balls to take the punt.

Can you imagine the roar of the magpie army every time he goes near the ball.

You can already picture the look on Carlton fans' faces if he lined up in black + white.

Isn't Fev going to join the NTFL?

As long as he doesn't come within a mile radius of the Westpac Centre, I don't care what he does with himself.

We have been keen on Daniel Currie for several years. Now delisted from Swans. Might be work rookie pick. He and his whole family big Collingwood supporters!

I've been hoping for us to trade for Currie for a few years, so I'd definitely be happy if we picked him up. On the other hand, he wasn't delisted from Melbourne who can't develop their players, he was delisted from Sydney. That says a bit more about where he is as a player than what we could glean from, say, Simon Buckley's delisting.

Wouldn't have any issue with a Currie or Sellar with a late pick.

Not really many better bigs going around and both have some versatility to perhaps play a role. Even as limited role players ala Leigh Brown.

Both are in the right age groups to contribute now so I don't have the issues others might. Just means we have another more mature player to contest that no.2 ruck position with Wood and provide a more flexible no.2 ruck option.

My belief with recycled players is if you find someone you like and they can play a unique role others on your list can't in a position where you don't have those ready to go options then it is worth consideration.

Both fit our age profiling well, and with Wood a non developer without the flexibility to play as a no.2 ruck and Keeffe still physically not ready to step into the ruck and without really ever playing the position to this point in time it doesn't hurt to have another of a similar age competing with them for the position. Particularly with Jolly's recent injury issues.
Might mean we can keep Keeffe as a key defender for another year or two which personally I have no issue with considering he needs to get closer to the 110kg mark and because N.Brown has been unlucky with recent injuries meaning he might long term be needed as that 2nd key defender to play with Ben Reid.

You guys don't want Troy Taylor. All the talent in the world, but not prepared to do anything with it. His Mum said he is more interested in being first in line at the NT bottleshop every morning.

He spat at the RFC after we did everything for him. He still wasn't happy with us because we didn't buy him a house.

That's a sad story if true.

Sounds Like he is a Complete Tosser

seeing as we didnt make a play for seaby or someone like that, i get the feeling the coaches think the ruck division is fine and we'll just use our draft picks on some kids
