I think thats what we call a player announcing himself in a big game. I think he was on Motlop early and was moved forward in the second half. Big impact.

He came of age last night. Great game. Loves the big stage. Was never overawed or intimidated. His quick breakaways from a number of packs really set up some great linkages by the Hawks. Very impressive young man, too.

Looking forward at the start of the year there were massive concerns of having some inside midfielders and key backs to replace aging players. Not sure about key backs still, but Langford and Woodward (who we would have seen a lot more of if he was right when injuries earlier in the year) fill me with confidence for the future for inside midfielders. Both are manic, ball winning monsters.

Was awesome last night. His improvement over the last 12 months or so since his first AFL game has been massive. He is a beast in the packs and at stoppages and his use of the ball showed a bit more class tonight. If he keeps that up... Will be among the elite mids of the AFL.

I was on the train this morning after an all nighter in the city on the way back to Lara and i stood and said any Geelong supporters here and i just held up the back page of the same photo of young Langers in the Sunday Sun but no Scum supporters put there hands up there would have to of been at least one you would think.Also to add how impressive is young Will in his interview after the game in the rooms,he makes us all proud to be lucky enough to support our great club,what an ambassador,his parents have done a great job raising there boy,i take my hat off to the Langford family.Anyone that is interested check out my facebook page Jason Rowe!!!!!
