Will Will Slade now come back into the team because Tenace is badly injured? I think he should, we really missed him on Sat night in the backline he would have stopped some goals. He is my favorite player and I think he is ace. He can come back now from the rookie list can't he?

C'MON THE MIGHTY CATS GET IT ON AND STOP FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER!

I think Tenace's industry is listed as 3-4 weeks, which is not long enough to allow Slade back on.

But thanks for asking!

Thanks for telling me Mr Boy. Is there anybody elses place he can take? After the other night he should be able to take someones place.

YAY Will Slade! I wish he could come back in the side but I said just the other day that he should come in for Tenace and then everyone went craZy and said that he gives away to many free kicks (which is true). So watch out Healy, be prepared for backlash!!!

Anyway, I also think we were missing Slade last week. Me missed his heart and his hard tough play! Tenace's injury is apparently 4-6 weeks now so I don't think thats enough for him to be on the long term injury list (think it has to be 7+ weeks). This would mean that Sladey wont be able to play. :( We will just have to wait and see I supose.

I'd rather Callan over Slade...
They're both tough, but Callan can't kick. I'd rather Slade.
With Slade, what are we going to do with him at the end of the year? Can we redraft him as a Senior again?

I don't know if this whole illusion that Callan can't kick was created on the basis of his past two senior games (which, IMO, weren't as bad as most make it out to be anyhow), but the sudden query of his disposal has certainly been overblown.

He's no dead-eye exponent of the drop punt, but he certainly doesn't belong in the "can't kick" category many of his counterparts currently find themselves under.

slade will not be put on the senior list next year, and will therefore be delisted due to being too old for the rookie list. I cant see geelong pesisting with him when the super draft is coming up and its just another spot on the list they have to make open for him.. not gonna happen me thinks ..

Apparently he got 22 odd possessions on the weekend in the VFL and was in the best, must be pushing for selection if a long term injury comes up. We need some heart.
