Will Voss Be Reported???

Voss should get three weeks for punching Judd in the Stomach. Any thoughts?

I must say after seeing the replay on TV that Judd "milked" it a bit but still, totally unnecessary from Voss. Don't know if he will get reported on video-evidence but if he does, expect him to serve time, a week is my guess.

I think it will go the way of the Matera/Lockyer incident. Video is inconclusive, player testimony ain't worth a thing, etc.

Voss became the crowd's new target of abuse, got yanked by his coach, and had to watch his much-vaunted side come crashing back to earth in a most embarrassing manner. I think he has suffered enough

when i saw it at the game i was outraged and thought he was gone but seeing the replay on TV it certinaly looks like there was alot of air between the punch and judd.

Not true. I was sitting pretty close to the boundary at the brisbane end, and had a perfect view of it- guilty, guilty guilty. Whether the tribunal can procure evidence to prove this is another question.

Definately guilty. And Matera never took a swing. Voss's swing and intent was clear. 2-3 weeks IMO

Also 2 weeks for the Brisbane player that cleaned up the goal umpire in the second quarter (as if )

IF and i say again IF, because we dont know what will happen, if the incident is reported, the unpredictablility and inconsistency of the AFL tribunal will come into play on the decision IF he is found guilty. If found guilty id say he'll get 1-2 weeks. Very stupid thing for Voss to do, imagine a Brownlow Medallist getting sucked into doing something like that by a 19yo rookie.

Voss may be one of the protected species and I doubt if he will be even reported. People in certain circles may have invested lots of money on him winning the Brownlow.

It was certainly uncalled for and there was contact....but it was more of a lovetap and an academy award than a 2 or 3 week suspension.

I personally don't think there is much in it. He should NEVER have even looked like doing it though being the champ he has been, Judd being much his junior in age AND games played, but i doubt he will even be reported. If he is though he will undoubtably get suspended due to the tribunal's bloody in-consistency

It looked really bad when it first happened, but on the replay it seemed to me that Judd milked it for all it was worth

Voss wont get anything for it, worst scenario is that he'll face the tribunal but he wont get suspended

I dont think he shall be reported. Judd did milk it and got a free kick for it while Voss was benched for his silly bit of play.

All in all, we came away with the 4 points, we shut down the greatest midfield in the AFL and instilled confidence into our own boys. What a win!

Pretty surprising - Voss was always (IMO) hard but fair.

Judd may have milked it but the hit was there, and I think that perhaps was due to frustration, but it was there. Very unlike Voss, however.

I believe he will be reported, and I figure 1-2 weeks.

Nothing in it, he shouldn't even have to go to the tribunal. But then, this is the AFL Tribunal we're talking about, so anything could happen...

I'd think Brisbane fans should be more worried about the way he lost his cool under a little pressure.
