Just dropped by to see what your thoughts were on this game, will be a corker if the dees play like we did in the last against the roos, if we play like we did in the first three it will be a 10 goal win for you.

Naturally both teams are greatful for the return of Goldspink this week!

Watch out for Neitz in the 3rd this week, he kicked 3 in the last against the roos and it would be good to see a strong Neitz in the 3rd performance. (People who don't know what I'm on about, a couple of crows supporters coined the phrase 'neitz in the 3rd' after he dominated a few 3rd quarters a couple of years back, watch out for it)

Will be interested in Maric/Meesen if they play, wouldn't mind one of them at the dees next year.

Good to see both teams should have their spiratual leaders back in Roo and McLean. See you at the game, supporters from interstate don't worry too much about tickets, this game wont be a sellout.

Meesen is a definite no to play - will make his return from injury next week in the sanfl. Maric may be a chance if Griffin doesn't come up but Ivan had a bad performance on the weekend for the Maggies.

I though Griffin might be struggling quite a bit, don't know the stats on it but not too many players play the next week after -1 in dream team! He is a top young ruckman, its amazing the fools who thought you were stuffed in the ruck after Clarke retired and Biglands went down. I think as Melbourne supporters we can give you the new 'ruck factory' award, we've headed downhill from Stynes, White, Simmonds and Jolly and now have Jamar and Johnson.

McLean will bag 8 now that he has some match practice under his belt. Anything less than that will be considered a dissapointment :)

Thanks for the heads up, was thinking there would be 90,000+ people there for a minute, phew :D
Crows fans will be able to have a stand each.

Will it be a 50/50 crowd?

i'd say we may almost out number the demon supporters. ive been to a few of the dees games at the g this yr and the numbers have been shocking. every game adelaide plays in melbourne we get a great turn out of supporters and i think this week will actually out number the opposition supporter group. and the main demon fans are the clowns in the mcc reserve neway so we know who will be louder. GO YOU CROWS!!

apparently it's snowing in the highlands......;)

Just wondering to all those going to the game, especially the cheer squad what gate I should enter?

I don't want another dilemma where I was given 2nd row seats right in the middle of the Carlton cheer squad haha. :o

Crows captain Mark Ricciuto has completed Wednesday’s main training session and is likely to be available for Saturday’s clash with Melbourne.

Ricciuto, who has not played football since round 20 last season, trained without hindrance working in Adelaide’s forward and midfield drills.

Ricciuto’s team mate Robert Shirley said the return of Adelaide’s only Brownlow Medallist was “inspiring”.

“He’s the greatest player we’ve had at the club so seeing him run around gives you a bit of confidence and I look forward to seeing him play,” Shirley said.

“The big fella is really keen and jumping out of his skin to play so we expect him to be back this week.”

Ricciuto’s availability is a welcome headache for Crows selectors who for the first time this season will pick a team from a squad with renewed depth.

“It is going to be a tough decision and luckily enough it’s not up to me,” Shirley said. “It’s a good position to be in and something we probably haven’t had in the last few weeks so it will be interesting to see who will have to make way.”

What? You couldnt find a spare seat to move to?

Well we got level 1 reserved tickets for the price of general admission tickets, so we tried out those seats in the first half. Then we moved all the way to the other side of the ground behind the Crows cheer squad during half time. It wasn't too bad in the 2nd quarter though as the Blue army were all quiet. :D

I'm more worried about this game than I have been about any other game so far this season. I really think we'll see a different melbourne this week, and we'll need to give it our all to beat them. We haven't been putting in 4-quarter efforts all season. Hopefully Roo's return will inspire the team.

I agree given fine conditions and not much of a wind factor we should blow this mob out of the water

We will absolutely wallop them.

Damn right boys.

I am a bit gutted that I won't get to see Roo's return but as long as North beat Port and they put the scores up on the scoreboard I should be able to manage.

With Roo back, this game just got massive...
The forecast is "few showers" Typical Melbourne weather ;)

I hope Roo kicks a bagfull

I just wanna shout ROOOO a few more times. I wonder who will stand on sylvia, he seems to be doing well. Rutten on Neitz or Robertson. I wouldnt have a clue?

I disagree, the more close losses you have the more it eats away at you. We should belt these guys this week, but ill be happy with just a win.
