Will we win? - We bloody well better!
Logic dictates that we should win this BUT the build up to Chris Grant's 300th game over here in the media has me a little concerned.

I tipped us but I am not overly confident. I just get this sneaking suspision that we will lose this one :(

Funny you should say that. I don't wish to be pessimistic, but we're due for a loss and this is exactly the sort of one we'll drop - coming off three straight weeks of going in as clear underdogs and taking the chocolates in style, we're now faced with the favourites tag, and while Craigy would be doing everything to keep the players' feet on the ground, I just have a dodgy feeling we'll underestimate them and get pantsed, similar to Round 2, 2003 against the Saints.

Crows by 28pts.

Im feeling a lil sad this week as this will be the first Crows game in Melbourne I have missed since the 1998 GF, to all that are going be loud and be passionate and keep the faith ;) Im there in spirit ;)

My thoughts exactly :(

This is a danger game for us after the last couple of games, I agree. It will be a great eye opener to see if what we believe is happening is really happening at west lakes - great prepartion for each game and immediate focus onto the next weeks game.

If we lose, on the plus side, I won't be having to get up at 4am in the morning like last week :D

Just as an aside to this, how many people are going/know someone who is going? I know heaps of people going over for this game so could almost be 50-50 crowd wise which could help get the lads over the line....... I HOPE!

6 of our extended family going.

I'd expect the crowd to be 30-70. Lots of Doggies fans for Chris Grant's 300th.

I hope we do win because my tipping so far has been inversely related to their wins/losses. I hope this isn't an omen :p . I'll cross my fingers that this week will break this current progression.

Carn the CROWS!

I'm really hoping we can and I have everything crossed! It's Goody's 150th so I'm hoping we can do it for him at least.

I'm also going to be there, I'm going by bus tomorrow night.

There's almost two busses going over from the Crow's Supporters group. I dont think it will be quite 50-50 though, Maybe close though?

Great two bus loads of ****************s heading to Melbourne, just stay home let the real Supporters Group make the noise. Not that bunch of pansies from Adelaide

Let's be realistic here folks....The Crows will have a solid win against an ordinary lineup. The Dogs will have about a minutes inspiration for Chris Grant and that will be it. Adelaide have a new mind set this year. I think in years gone by, this might have been a game we could drop. But all of a sudden we find ourselves sitting nicely and we won't undo all the hard work against a team that is a long way off being a good side.

Let's get real folks.

I can't believe the prophets of doom re this week's game.

If we are going to be a good football side, this is not only a game that we should expect to win - it's a game that we should demand that our footy team wins.

If we lose, I will be bitterly disappointed re their mental attitudes, because IMO that's the only way we can lose this game - between the ears.

I'm not being disrespectful to the Bullies, because I think they're one of the most honest teams around. I just expect our players to match that honesty and the edge in ability should win the game for us.

Adelaide by 23+ points.

Sure, if we are going to be a good side, we should win this game, but ARE we in fact a good football side?

Now, our previous two results would say that we are, but are they a bit of a false dawn, a good step in development and performance, however, ultimately a little misleading at this stage in our side's maturation?

Is there in fact that big a gulf in the relative talents and abilities of the respective teams? I'm not entirely sure, though again, the way we've been performing recently, you'd say so, but will it continue?

There's too many doubts for me, with all the factors at play here, it's too simplistic to say we should win, so we will win.

Footy is a funny game. Now I'm off to pop a few panadol and have a good lie down....

My sentiments exactly. This will be an extremely disappointing and totally unacceptable loss if it happens. Have a look at the teams on paper. There is no way I will accept a loss this week. If we lose this one, our early unexpected victories will all of a sudden look like nothing but flukes and it will be back to the drawing board. There will be no excuses for losing this game.
