If anyone saw Choco on the news (or wherever else) to be able to hear what he said verbatim, you would understand how blown out of proportion this has all been. If you haven't seen and heard the information first-hand, I'd suggest you do firstly. I highly doubt it would fit within anyone's definition of 'whinging'.

The dogs are playing up there because they are f@rked not only on field but off field as well!! Port Requested to play up there, but requested it to be the match where the players have a weeks break!!

Your team, Hawthorn though have not only the battle of the wooden spoon on you hands, but seems no one even wants to take on coaching your team!!

The window of opportunity to play in Darwin during the AFL season is quite limited, so any future games will be around about this round every year. Too early in the season and it will be way too hot for the players. During the optimum time there are other commitments.
Mid August it is.

However, playing in the heat when you are not used to it and then having to travel again to play a Friday night game is not good.
Whoever decided on this part of the draw is an idiot.

man if i have whinged about williams/port, then all i say is you have just whinged at me. Tell me how many times your lovely supporters insulted me on this thread just cos i didn't agree with them?

during the press conference williams went back to we dont have Primus or Francou ( who hasnt played for two years)
how do the players taking their spot feel ? - your only getting a game cause these guys are out
and if/when they fail they can fall back on well if primus and francou were playing it would be different

personally i think brogan and lade are a better combination than primus
although franou is a good player, could he force himself into the team after such a layoff ??

basically i think williams should quit with the we havent got primus and francou line

or maybe i'm misreading the whole thing

I saw the press conference on Fox and Mark Williams was not making excuses (what does he have to make an excuse about at the moment?). When he is asked about the current injury situation (eg. Tredrea) he invariably includes the names of Primus and Francou. Imo players with long term injuries need to be included and their names should not be left off the list just because they are out for the season.
