Interesting that he plans to take a year off and then come back to Norwood - he'll be 24ish, so certainly not too late to have an AFL career if he gets his body right.

A disappointing ending to the career of a talented player. Still, he's a pretty rounded individual, having spent a couple of years in America, and now he'll be heading off to London. Best of luck to him in whatever comes next!
Really disappointed for Will...he just did not havy any luck with injuries!
I had the pleasure of meeting Will at season launch this year and he is a ripper bloke, really down to earth and a likeable chap. I can see how he would be popular around the club.
I wish him all the best and hope to see him back on the Crows list or at least in the AFL in the future! He deserves some luck!

- Asked if he would go to to watch Port Adelaide play over in London, he said he would rather watch paint dry

Thought Crows supporters might be interested , according to a mate that gets to a lot of Vic country football Will Young is apparently back from his overseas sojourn and gunning it up playing up forward for Newlyn in the Central Highlands League [Ballarat surrounds]......would come in handy right now with our lack of genuine KPD's.

He was out at Norwood the lad had some talent but seriously shit luck with injuries.
