Yet only Zak was ever getting fines, not the instigator that he was going after.

But yeah, the AFL totally doesn't pick and chose. This entire fine is based on former Hawthorn player Ben Dixon going about highlighting it at half time.

Show us the footage of Butters' victims doing what he did to them. And then show us what the Dogs player did to deserve death threats.

NONE of that is the point though.

They’re all minor on field transgressions that happen 10 times a game.

The point is that in the past 10,000+ times it’s happened - not one other player followed up with a physical threat to harm. That’s the point.

Rioli should have left it with his whining on instagram.

It's normal for clubs to investigate initial claims of wrongdoings, to see if it warrants being passed off to the AFL, which normally ends up happening anyway regardless of how minor. The Dogs would have decided it was, and has now alerted the AFL who will take over. It has likely been in the AFL's hands for the past few hours.

Was leaked via Code Sports first, the media. Even if the club did nothing, the likes of Morris who is still barred from the Bulldogs, still got hold of the full message. No hiding anything once its in the open.
