Incredible day for the aussies and with kvitova out it opens up that side of the womens draw.

Very excited for Ebden with that win over goffin. He's been building this year and the result doesn't surprise me (even though I tipped goffin).

Kyrgios had to work hard for that win, great to see de minaur win in a match he had a good shot in.

Was thinking the same thing. Other players who slogged their way through qualifying cop a seed and are bundled out first round only to see Bernie (probably) cruise through to the second round. Must be frustrating at times.

The luck of the draw, it happens . Now it's his opportunity to make the most of it.
