I don't have any faith in our coaches being able to revitalise his career.Time to drop him. And anyone who disagrees with that can f**k off. He's become lazy and poorly skilled. Do whatever we need to do to revitalise his career - make him play Sanfl for half a season if we have to. If he still doesn't improve, encourage him to explore his options elsewhere.

I'd prefer he stay but can understand if he wanted to move on.
1) The trade out of the squad may have changed the feel in the club rooms
2) The three new players have come in on decent $ but don't seem committed to putting their body on the line
3) The premiership window closes after next year with our ageing list
The responsibility ultimately comes down to Chad. He should be in peak condition.Wingard has had the instinct and nose for goal coached out of him. Everytime he's inside 50 his first move now is to look for a team mate. 2013-14 Chad backed himself and went for goal. Hinkley is coaching the talent out of Chad Wingard. If he knows what's good for him he'll ask for a trade.

But I concur regarding kicking for goal. Too often we handball off or try and kick closer to goal only for it to be turned over. Just back yourself in and kick the goal.
If true, what the actual f**k are we even doing. Jesus Christ.I have it on very good authority he had strips torn off him by the coach in front of the entire group immediately after the Geelong loss for being too hungry in front of goal. Since then timid, look for an option Chad has been noticeable.
Fair enough, but does that explain his attitude and physique?I have it on very good authority he had strips torn off him by the coach in front of the entire group immediately after the Geelong loss for being too hungry in front of goal. Since then timid, look for an option Chad has been noticeable.
If that's true, then that's an indictment on Hinkley as a coach and not Wingard as a player. With the goal nous and skill Wingard has, you want him hunting the pack, being selfish and kicking 2+ goals a game. If indeed he was berated by the coach 'in front of the team' for that then Hinkley really needs to move on and it would go some way to explain his performance today. Such a talent wasting away.I have it on very good authority he had strips torn off him by the coach in front of the entire group immediately after the Geelong loss for being too hungry in front of goal. Hinkley it's his specialtyLobotomy boy. Who has removed his football brain?
