Still had more impact today than the likes of Sam Gray or Neade. Do you keep the out-of-form star in the side over the spud who's performed at the same spuddy level his entire career*? Absolutely.

He's an undoubted talent but he is wasting away in our shithouse forward line. Went into the middle in Q4 and immediately got the next centre clearance. I've said it before and I'll say it again, don't drop him, get him in the ****ing middle where he belongs. Force him to get into the game.

*I will concede that this statement is harsh on Sam Gray, but it is entirely fair in regards to Neade who has already played about 50 AFL games more than he ever should have.
 
Needs to be traded so he can enchance his career no point staying in a club that’s it ok to play one good one three Shit ones so on so on.

Yeah it is because he's a shit truck every week. Over the last month he's averaging less than 10 possessions and hasn't kicked a single goal. Your constant defence of him is laughable.

Both Sam Gray and Neade have been better than Wingard this year. As has Aidyn Johnson.

Probably the ultimate indignity is that Lindsay Thomas' one game was arguably better than any Wingard has played.

I agree that they should have played Chad in the middle more, not just today but over the course of the season.

No it isn't. We haven't tried getting him in the midfield. Not this year anyway. We tried it last year and he played some great footy.

Wingard going at 16 touches, 1.2 goals and 1 goal assist a game. Neade going at 10.3 touches, 0.7 goals and 0.3 assists per game. This post is horseshit.

I think everyone neades* to also remember that wingard has had a very interrupted season with injury and our coaches are too soft to risk him in the middle. Sad isn't it.

The crows use vanilla players in the centre and we don't even use wingard who has a bucket load of talent.

Would not be surprised if he requests a trade, ala burgoyne, just to have some faith behind him.
 
Will get traded and turn into the gun we all know he is..
For some reason our coaches have the gift of turning players into dullards...all of our recruits look worse...Motlop, Dixon, Rockliff.

I'm not even defending him he's just the easy target & a performance like that warrants the dropping of a few of his vastly higher paid teammates as well.. but alas we have a coach with no moxie.

He's an easy target because he makes himself an easy target with regular ineffectual performances.

There wouldn't be one other 60+ game player in the league who could get away with a month's worse of sub-10 disposal and 0 goal games as a forward without being dropped. Not a single one.

Who cares though flipping around fringers on the roundabout is the least of our issues, with Marshall probably not available for selection you are flipping Neade for AJ, Amon or whatshisname.. hardly anything earth shattering or team altering
 
I'm with Schulzenfest. Get him in the guts and leave him there. He just needs some touch where he's not trying to manoeuvre himself a goal in our dysfunctional forward line like Catherine Zeta Jones in Entrapment.

It's him or Neade and Neade hasn't had one of his good games in more than a month.
 
Man, at times, I found it tough to watch Chad out there today. Reminded me of that great scene in The Verdict...

You can't drop Neade, who visually works his ass off every week, before Chad, who visually looks like he doesn't want to be out there. Sends a terrible message.
