I like trying to make better versions of what you get at Maccas. Lettuce, tomato, pickle, diced red onion, burger patty, cheese, and special sauce on toasted buns.I like your regular, Australian milk bar burger best. I ask for them to add cheese, bacon, beetroot and sometimes pineapple. Obviously I just assume that lettuce and tomato will be involved, as would tomato sauce
That sounds good. The rapid disintegration of American burgers gets to me, with the very soft bun plus everything is too sweet, but upgrading the base ingredients would be pretty good.I like trying to make better versions of what you get at Maccas. I always get the woolies jumbo burger buns. Milk and brioche buns are crap, agreed. That sounds good. The rapid disintegration of American burgers gets to me, with the very soft bun plus everything is too sweet, but upgrading the base ingredients would be pretty good.
There is a sauce intended as a side for fish in a woman’s weekly cookbook that tastes exactly like McDonalds special sauce. A fine discovery
Yes, that's correct. It's an example of morphemic rebracketing.Has anyone ever worked out why a Hamburger is called a Hamburger when it's primary ingredient is a Beef patty?
I assume it has something to do with Hamburg.
