Brilliant scenes in Adelaide. Well done by AK, what a win. If he birdies the last he could close with a 62.

Only took a bit of rest on Saturday for me.Fair to say one thing we learnt this week is that it’s possible to come back from doing coke off toilet seats.
Well done to Kim was great to watch and great to see Kim and the crowd appreciate each other.
It was great sporting theatre - but on reflection it highlights exactly what LIV lacks - consequential golf.Haven't been a huge fan of LIV but after today I'm sold. Watching Scottie Scheffler and guys with hand warmers tomorrow morning won't be the same
I do like that he won it after getting back into LIV via qualifying rather than his previous invite.Fair to say one thing we learnt this week is that it’s possible to come back from doing coke off toilet seats.

His second into 18. Wow.Scheffler -8 through 14 last round at Pebble with two bogeys on card![]()

Yesterday was exciting because it meant so much to Kim and that he took it away from two of the best golfers on Earth.
Next week, in Singapore, or wherever, when Niemann et al fight it out, things will likely be back to normal, who cares golf.
Whoever gets up at Pebble today, wins a career defining tournament.
Kim’s putting down the stretch was phenomenal. And getting the exchanges between him and his caddy was great coverage.
Oh, Sharkie, I have missed you so. Rory sent you off into the wilderness for such a long time. You can't build history overnight, you understand that. Winning Pebble Beach is not career defining. It is just a great traditional event to add to your resume. Was it a great event the 5th time they ever played it? Of course it wasn't. It has taken decades to become the name event it now has.
No LIV event is going to sit next to it right now or any time soon, how could that be possible?
How you can call Liv golf non consequential is beyond me. Plenty of consequences for AK and many players now trying to get into Majors.
Not sure why anyone is against more golfOh, Sharkie, I have missed you so. Rory sent you off into the wilderness for such a long time.
Think I was pretty clear that it was consequential for AK - but that it isn't generally - that was my point. Yeah, maybe someone might sneak into a major with the new OWGR points, but that isn't a needle mover.
LIV is in terminal decline - as soon as Bryson and Rahm leave, it's done. It just had it's one big event for the year and that's it. They need to do a deal with the Euro tour asap.

To me when Liv golfers are getting paid regardless of them performing in a means nothing competition it just doesn’t do anything for me . Compared to other tours where you need to perform to get paid prize money. Hey but that’s just meNot sure why anyone is against more golf
I'm not against more golf - there's just some history with Sharky and his love for LIV and hatred of the PGA(and Rory). Not sure why anyone is against more golf

But I certainly am against the still split tours. As soon as Bryson, Rahm and hell, maybe even Tyrell come back to the PGAT, the better.
The reality is that LIV is screwed. Their opening event brought in 23k viewers in the States on FS1. That is less than a really ordinary AFL game going into the States in the middle of the night(their time).
Notwithstanding the outlier event that was yesterday, the rest of the season is a yawnfest of money matches played on appalling golf courses in front of terrible crowds.
There will surely come a time when the Saudis start tightening the screws or simply turn the tap off altogether. If their new CEO is any kind of rational operator(he appears to be) he is surely working on tying in with the Euro Tour.
For all the dollars the Saudis have blown, outside of LIV Adelaide being a big show in a little town, they have built nothing of value. While it's always easy in hindsight, plowing all those dollars into big name players has so far effectively achieved nothing.
I don't hate LIV - watched it on the weekend, but I think that'll be it for the year, quite simply because the results don't matter.Nope don't hate the PGA tour, in fact watched most of this event at Pebble as I did watch LIV this weekend as well. I love high level golf and Both the tour and Liv deliver that.
Also don't hate Rory the golfer, hate him commenting on everything Liv however, but I am sure the tour fund him to do that.
So it's really only you and a few others who just hate anything to do with LIV golf, not sure why?
As already said, whats wrong with more High level golf?
Do agree that the DP and Liv should join forces, but that must be don't only with the deal with the PGA tour off the table.
Saudi money is endless. They will keep writing cheques. Noticed a trend in other sports. I personally prefer the euro tour to others. Preferable time to watch live. Commentary fair. Scenery awesome. Dunno about that - they have already tightened the purse strings with lower sign on and re-up fees, etc.Saudi money is endless. They will keep writing cheques. Noticed a trend in other sports.
