Very sorry for Jarrod Lyle and his family. May he go peacefully in the arms of those who love him most.

This is tragic news. I am shattered and I don’t even know him. Loved watching him play in Oz when he was fully fit. Life isn’t fair sometimes!

Jarrod played his Melbourne junior amateur golf at my club and I had the chance to play with him. Fantastic player to watch up close from ages 18-20. Beautiful hands and a super smooth putter. A true "swinger" rather than a "hitter".

Even with Tiger doing very well at the Open, I'd say it's still highly unlikely he will ever win another major.
