Worst Job that you know of

my job stinks...
market research...
trying to
a) convince people i'm not selling anything
b) convince them it does only takes 5-10 minutes
c) putting up with stupid drunks/kids who quit half way thru a survey
d) that damn "this call cannot be connected" lady drives me insane
e) smart arses who ask to call me back... i give them my number and that don't call...;)

:p

Overall i think being a Urologist would be feral, playing with the men's department and the back-end all day wouldn't be great

I think this thread is proof that, no matter how much your job sucks, somebody somewhere has things a lot worse off than you do.

I actually think I have done the worst job in the world. OK, I only stayed a few hours but can you imagine the pleasure of emptying and cleaning sanitary bins!! Being a blokey bloke it sure opened my eyes up, not to mention my nostrils!!
Had to throw my shoes away, couldn't get the smell out!!
Foul job that's for sure.

The job you had before your current one surely couldn't rate could it?? Or is it just the company that sucks?

Be grateful. At least you got out.

:(

I work in a motel and I have to do other peoples washing nightly. But it's all in a big plastic bag, so I don't have to actually touch it until it's clean, then I chuck it in the dryer and fold it. Easy. Plus I get to do my own laundry when it's quiet.

being a carer for old fogies who sh1t themselves etc and having to clean them up. thats just feral.

I work as a carer for the intellectually disabled and from time to time cleaning up such mess is part of my job. Naturally it is pretty gross at first and although it always remains an unpleasant experience you tune out to it pretty quickly.

The rewards of the field I'm in by FAR outweigh those unlikeable moments.

Anyway, I once knew an unemployed gal who was given a job by the CES. It was at the local tip and she had to stand atop the mounds of rotting rubbish with a whip and scare off the crows and seagulls.

Life would have to get better than that.

True, but I still have a lot of fond memories about that place. Left a lot of good friends behind which sometimes seems like a mistake!!!
Work wise though, no regrets.

Maybe your friends weren't as good as they should have been?

Maybe your friends were influenced by outside elements and should have been more true to themselves?

Maybe your friends are wondering now what the hell happened?

But hey - who am I to say? Just taking a stab! ;)
