Worst player in the AFL currently regularly getting a game? (Formerly is Priddis the worst?)

Honestly he is so shit - can't run, can't kick, can't tackle which he could do in the past, can't win the ball which he also could do in the past.

He does not have 1 strength in his game anymore, yet still gets picked each game.

There has been ongoing discussion for years on the WC board about him, but now I ask other teams fans is he currently the worst player in the AFL regularly getting a game?

If not him then who?

He would probably be our best player.

The Eagles Bigfooty board is in the minority on Priddis. I work with so many West Coast supporters who think the reason they're struggling in the midfield this year is because Priddis isn't spending as much time in the guts.

I mention his lack of speed and defensive capabilites but all you hear in return is that it's not his role 'he's the best extractor in the comp' 'he is a tackling beast' 'he won a brownlow'.

The Eagles board melt when he gets selected but I'm pretty sure there are more Eagles supporters out there that still see him as an A grade gun.

FWIW I agree with the Eagles board, Priddis is a liability now, made all the more sweeter by pairing him with another slow midfielder in Mitchell. The lack of defensive pressure between those two is alarming.

Very happy Priddis got a contract extension.

This may tell you that most posters on the eagles board are highly intelligent with great football knowledge and insight. It might also tell you that the general west coast eagles nanna brigade of supporter have shit for brains.

Or it could say neither but I think there may be just cause for both!

It really is, when you're trolling your own team you can't be called a fan anymore. Yeah a guy getting 25 and 8 tackles per game is worse than Majak Daw (who is probably not even the worst I can think of), ok. I'd take him over Masten ffs I don't care how slow he is compared to him.

Every team has a few shockers getting a game.

I would say Priddis has to be one of the most hurtful to his own team though simply because he takes a prime midfield spot up and makes it easier for opposition to get through defensively.

That's why Josh Caddy was such a liability to have on a list. Took up a core position and turned it over half the time.

Definitely not worst, but the untouchable aura he has managed at West Coast is quite ridiculous. He's never been much more than a WAFL grade player, lucky for him he is playing in an era where stats are king.

Past- David Gallagher, van berlo, butcher for port when he got a game at the end of every year and they would re-sign him,

Present- Kyle hartigan.. and josh caddy is pretty shit but not the worst. Shouldn't be playing every week imo.
