Who do you dislike the most our of the newspaper journo's.

Personally I can't stand Caro. Always thinks she knows what the "real story" is at the AFL. Absolute "know all". Everything is a comspiracy and most of the time she's simply muck raking, trying to bulid small stories into major issues.

Second worst is Mark Robinson. What an ego? Actually he's better in prunt than on radio. On radio he's just plain arrogant.

As for Patrick Smith, this guy can write, but a bit like Caro he makes mountains out of molehills and also like her, has an inflated opinion of himself.

One example ... he spoke to SEN the other day and said that Koschitzke had "torn his hamstring" and the club were covering it up. He also said that Hudghton had "severe aductor problems".

- These injuries were the other way around, and the club did not cover them up.
- Neither of them were more serious than 2 weeks out.

Easily Patrick Smith. Wrote an article in about 2000 saying he had access to documentation that stated emphatically Geelong had a racist drafting policy and refused to draft indigenous players. Cook and Costa asked him to table said documents, but to the best of my knowledge he never did.

I was doing voluntary work in the membership department about that time, and the level of hostility around the place about that article was unbelievable.

Regularly stuffs up information, pours sh*t on players and then readily admits he doesn't know a lot about them when queried on his comments and arrogantly and pathetically tries to find ways to cling to stupid comments made after he has been factually proven wrong. A grade moron.

As for others, Smith doesn't bother me that much. Is an arrogant old ******** and has an inflated opinion of his comedic talents but is harmless enough if you take him as Patrick Smith just being Patrick Smith. Wilson is horrid. Has anything ever happened in the AFL that doesn't have some hidden agenda or some conspiracy behind it? There are times when she embarasses herself and quite obviously doesn't even realise it.

I dont mind Caro, although she is wrong sometimes. But at least she is willing to put it out there and ask the hard questions. During our club review last year she repeatedly wrote articles obviousley based on rumors, but I admired her for having the guts to put it out there because it allowed for the club to refudiate it. Another example was her recent article saying that Costa was pushing a successor to be President of Geelong which actually turned out to be false.
