If we're going to bring up club songs - the Adelaide song is not the worst, but it HAS to be the worst rendition. It sounds so freakin' wimpy. Footy club songs are meant to sound tough. It sounded so embarrassing at the MCG on Sunday. Did they get Mitch Miller's Singers to do it? If you don't know who they are - ask your parents (or grandparents).

Can't stand the bloke's voice. Absolutely can't handle it. And having it shoved down your throat by FM radio (at work, so no I couldn't just turn it off) certainly didn't help.

Maybe that doesn't make it a bad song per se, but **** I hate it.

I have got a version of that song by the Screaming Jets, which they did for a commercial radio promotion, and it believe it or not actually sounds pretty good. Up tempo and very rock. Dave Gleeson has got a much better voice than Witchipoo. Rock On Jets!

Any song that is overplayed/used by a commercial interest gets pretty tired pretty quickly. How many classic songs are now boring or have lost their original meaning due to being used in a Jaguar ad? Lots.

I used to hate Pearl Jam 'cause my friends would play it over and over and over, but that was the only reason I hated them. Now when I listen, I can put value or meaning into the song, rather than have it as an annoying soundtrack to my life.

As far as bad songs are concerned, my least favourite piece of music is the War of the Worlds soundtrack/musical. BLEH!

Worst artists is a little easier, with people like Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne, pretty much any rapper ever, all hip hop R&B singers ever etc etc.

I know this is ancient history, but any song by the Angels, especially their 'classic', 'Am I Ever Going to See Your Face Again'. This would invariably incite the response during the chorus that left me cringing every time. Much the same as the response I would have whenever 'Khe Sahn' (which I quite liked initially) was played. Sorry, just too many painful memories....
