I just heard a song by a late 60s band called The Shaggs called "That Little Sports Car". They don't know how to sing or play their instruments but somehow it became a cult record. Apparently their album was listed as one of Kurt Cobain's favourites...

Also William Shatner's "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" would be a contender.

Some other songs mentioned like "SexyBack" are not too bad and they are at least catchy. Rather, they have some from of musical prowess, however little. I suggest anyone who nominates that song do themselves a favour (well, not favour) and listen to a song by the Shaggs. It really is terrible music but it's strangely intriguing.
