I can answer on behalf of 98% of Essendon supporters here.

**** no.

I am one of those 98%..... Please no. Pagan's time is almost up as a senior coach- I don't know of any club who would touch him after he gets the boot from carlton.

He had such a great record until he got to Carlton. U/19's, Reserves, then at North. He's definately was a good coach.

Big question marks over his ability to manage a list - which is perhaps as critical as it has ever been in footy - and if he's adapted to the modern game. No coach would have had any success with that carlton list though.

He wouldn't be an improvement on Sheedy so I don't want him.

The Dons need a coach with intelligence between 32 to 38 years of age, with one to four years assistant coaching experience.

Agree. People bagging his abilities have no idea.

Pagan lead the "team of the 90's" in case anyone's forgetting. In '93 when he took over they were a complete basket case having just copped a 100+ (147?) point belting at the hands of the crows. 3 years later he stood tall on the last day in september.

Nobody at all could have built that Carlton to be able to play well over a long sustained period which is indicated by why they won the wizard cup but never did anything over the longer season.

That said he isn't any better then Sheedy so not a chance in hell.
