Maybe johno is worth holding onto to see if bails can make him fire this year.....but i tell u its tempting buchanan is only 25 is a good tough player and if bails wants to go with the youth direction i would probaley do this if sydney want too

Take this however you want but it was reported in the Hun today that we have not spoken to any clubs regarding TJ.

He might still get traded but I think it's a long way from happening at the moment.

Your right marns it is very tempting but we must keep in mind that if johno has another inconsitant year he is then 29 and a 1st round draft pick for him is then just a pipe dream......its a tough one really is

The way i c it its Pick 11 and buchanan for tj. I see it that way because of my hatred for brad miller he will not improve at melbourne so i say we do it if its true

at pick 11 we will get a solid player and buchanan will contribute and break into our 22 with ease.

That could be a good deal if we could use their pick on Rance. From what I've heard he is a good defender not worth pick four but will be gone but pick 20. If we could snare him with pick eleven then it would free up pick four for a good better player.

But wouldnt Sydney want to keep their draft picks to inject some youth into their side and also I highly doubt Sydney would give up Buchanan and pick 11 for Travis and ten Brad Miller's let alone the one.

Your right flash seems like a pretty damn good deal to me.............schnider i just dont rate but its seems more realistic to me........... what we have to keep in mind is like i said on the miller thread is that i THINK sydney rate miller because of the way in the past he has played on hall, so maybe just maybe they would be stupd enough to think he can actually be useful.........if so we should demand amon and pick 11

Then use Pick 11 on Selwood or Rance or someone who is best available.

No Jolly because the club will be getting Meeson.

You want quality not quantity, Miller + Jamar + Buckley aren't worth one of Buchanan or Pick 11 yet alone both.

They might need replacements (ie: Jamar to replace Jolly and Bode and Buckley; 2 young midfielders to replace theirs (Buchanan) plus Miller as a KPP)

Maybe I am right or wrong. However, its a good deal.

Well if I was a list manager for any other club I wouldn't touch either of Jamar or Miller where as Buckley and Bode I would both rate as 3-4th round selections in this weak draft and Trav would probably still be worth a 1st-2nd rounder at his age, I'd say more around 15-20. Buchanan I would rate as a 2nd rounder, but 21 seems too high, maybe around 25-30, Jolly might get more on the market but I'd only want to give up 20-25 for him. I can't really be bothered to put it all in a trade, but TJ + Miller for Pick 11 and Buchanan or Jolly would be a massive win for the dees.
