it's a great race the Lombardia with a picturesque yet demanding course. Glad it was a pub hol here in NSW and I could stay up all night and watch it. Voeckler made the race.

While there are a couple of smaller races still happening around the globe, the professional road season is largely finished for 2013. With that in mind, we decided to look back over the season and pick out some of our favourite moments. Some are obvious, some are not, but all are remarkable displays of athleticism.

Any favourites for you guys? It's hard to go past the Orica boys success at the Tour this year for me.

Another few Aussie highlights for the year people may have forgotten is Adam Hansen's Giro stage 7 victory. And the emergence of some young Aussie talent in Caleb Ewan and Howsen.
