(This is my first try at one and have got most of the info off other phantom drafts so haven't seen some of the players actually play yet)

1 Gold Coast- David Swallow (WA)
Obvious selection.

2 Gold Coast- Harley Bennell (WA)
Obvious.

3 Gold Coast- Sam Day (SA)
Have stated that they will select him with one of their 3 picks.

4 West Coast- Dyson Heppell (VIC)
Good user of the ball. What West Coast desperately needs.

5 Gold Coast- Daniel Gorringe (SA)
Best Ruckman in the U18's comp and Gold Coast will get him early

6 Richmond- Andrew Gaff (VIC)
Can play mid, forward and back and can play inside or outside. He can run all day and looks like a great prospect.

7 Gold Coast- Shaun Atley (VIC)
Tough hard running midfielder that can play inside or outside.

8 Essendon- Brodie Smith (SA)
Good breakaway speed, runs hard and is a great clearance player. Will go well with Watson.

9 Gold Coast- Matt Watson (VIC)
Good reader of the play and a strong marking KPD.

10 Brisbane- Jayden Pitt (VIC)
Skinny but is a great kick with good footy smarts.

11 Gold Coast- Tom Lynch (VIC)
Gold Coast can afford to take the risk on Lynch because of all the picks they've got. Good potential and good upside. Nice strong marking forward from a basketball background.

12 Melbourne- Lucas Cook (VIC)
KPF to compliment Watts. Got good footy smarts and pretty good accuracy when kicking for goal.

13 Gold Coast- Jarrad Polec (SA)
Clean and smart user of the ball. Has good skills and is good under pressure.

14 Adelaide- Luke Parker (VIC)
Really high work rate and racks up the possesions. Good strength and overhead mark for his size

15 Gold Coast- Billie Smedts (VIC)
When he has the ball he seems to have so much time to get rid of it. Good skills and very smart.

16 Port Adelaide- Scott Lycett (SA)
This pick depends on whether Port get Hampson/Jacobs from Carlton. Good hands and is very agile.

17 North Melbourne- Kieran Harper (VIC)
Good user of the ball. Good explosive speed and knows how to kick goals. Plays as an outside mid or a HFF.

18 Carlton- Patrick McCarthy (SA)
Skinny KPD with clean hands. Provides lots of run out of defence.

19 Hawthorn- Blayne Wilson (WA)
Good reader of the play that can kick well on either foot. Plays a bit like Lindsay Gilbee.

20 Fremantle- Josh Caddy (VIC)
Tough inside mid who is willing to put his body on the line. Good foot skills.

21 Sydney- Jack Darling (WA)
Risky pick, especially after the incident that put him in hospital. He is a strong marking forward that plays tall but might not make it at his height. Was rated as a possible top 3 pick but has slid a lot lately.

22 Western Bulldogs- Mitch Wallis (VIC)
F/S

23 St Kilda- Joel Wilkinson (QLD)
Exciting player and very good athletics background. Plays midfield/half back.

24 Geelong- Mitch Hallahan (VIC)
Tough player, good decision maker and not bad skills. (Geelong might need a replacement for Ablett).

25 Collingwood- Reece Conca (WA)
Has good footy smarts and is strong over the ball. Is good at evading and can play anywhere on the ground

Good work WtM :thumbsu:

From a Melbourne perspective I reckon youve got it right. GC have several young ruckman but will take Gorringe early. They can afford to leave Lynch until just before Melbournes pick and focus on mids until then.

Leaves the Dees with Cook, Lycett or Darling and I suspect Cook is the best option - can play FF or CHF, is smart, calm and likes to tackle. My main concern is his contested and pack marking. Hopefully he is ok!

nice list. I think the lions will look at Polec and Caddy before Pitt though. Spot of with the GC targeting Gorringe & Watson early

Ineteresting with the saints and a QLD'er in wilkinson...I wonder if teh failed try with Armitage will play on their minds
