Anyone played Outer Worlds 2 yet? I'm really liking it, has a little bit of a Bioshock vibe too.

I started it and played about an hour

Looks like being a great game. I've just been locked into playing a lot of Fortnite Simpsons though

Been hooning around in Rocket League with the Simpsons add-ons the past in the last day and a bit

Found my old Xbox 360 Elite in the garage while cleaning it out, took it apart, gave it a clean (was dusty as hell), bought 2 brand new controllers the other for for it online and have just set it up in our spare room, still have a solid collection of 360 games.

Fired it up and the nostalgia hit was real, what a console and in particular era of gaming it was, miss it.

Funny that this year I virtually stopped using the Series X directly after April. Would "indirectly" have it turned on from time to time (occasional gaming, or letting the AI play certain games on my behalf lol). While using the PS5 more often than I usually would and even returned to the Switch more frequently (as well as my normal pc gaming pattern).

But I've actually been playing on the Series X properly a lot more in the last month and a bit. I still love the ecosystem (granted it's not as good as the Xbox 360 blade menus before they switched to the NXE), loveeeeeeeeee the controller. And I love playing the games on it (even if they're multi platform titles lol).


But yeah the 360 console was great - so many gaming memories had.

Recently listened to Major Nelson and Peter Moore talk about their time at Xbox during the making and launch of the Xbox 360. Man they were just keen to beat Sony back then, they wanted the best games on the 360 and despite the RROD setback, they really had a fairdinkum crack in that era. Took online gaming to a new level, it was a console FOR gamers BY gamers.

Things like the Zero Hour 360 launch is just missed these days.

Silent Hill 2 on Xbox now, saw it in the store.

Highly recommend, great game.

Xbox wrapped 2025 through truachievements is up, waiting for the official Xbox one though like last years.

Number 1 game played though was KCD2 230hrs.
