One of our youngsters Reo Griffiths being lined up by RB Leipzig. Paul Mitchell who used to work for us is there now which is where the story had come from. The kid was initially a midfielder and didn't have huge wraps but they've moved him up front + he has had a growth spurt.

True, I guess the thing is.. is development being stifled by a desire to win? or are they just never going to end up good and they won something anyway? You've won a lot, but there haven't been too many academy graduates to come out until recent years.

Yeah, i dont think any top sides have a heap coming through though. Its a huge step.

I guess the acamdemy is about developing kids into professional footballers and if they are lucky enough to end up 'Chelsea standard' like Christensen then its a bonus.

I am annoyed though that Drinkwater, Barkley and Cahill are taking squad spots that Ake, RLC and Chalobah should have. But thats a Conte thing not a club thing.
