White, wholemeal or multigrain?

Not a matter of which is healthier, but which you like most.

For mine, has to be multigrain. Been eating it for the last year or so. It's got a depth of flavour that you don't get with the other two - white in particular. Also prefer the texture. Has a bit of natural crunch and easier to chew than the white, which gets soggy as soon as you stick it in your mouth.

Depends what you're having it with

For you basic jam, vegemite, honey, peanut butter, nutella sandwhich white bread is the king, especially good white bread from the baker.

Dont mind a bit of rye either for toasts etc.

Not really a multigrain fan

Canned tuna is putrid. The smell, the texture, the taste. Ergh. Too bad every second prick in the office/at uni likes to crack open a tin at lunch to let you all know they've got some.

Light rye is my favourite bread. Like a good wholemeal too. White is fantastic too if you just want indulge in some dero food.

White bread fresh from the local bakery with butter. Awww yeah.

White...closely followed by the extra thick raisin toast.

Colon cancer victim right here :o

Neither are healthy and should only ever be had on the odd occasion.

Wholemeal and Multi Grain are the only healthy way to go.

For sliced bread from your supermarket / baker, for me it has to be multi-grain. Adds a texture and flavour to your meal that white / wholemeal can't. However, a GOOD white loaf or baguette, with a nice crunchy crust can't be beaten. :thumbsu:
