1. Scully
2. Trengove
11. Butcher / Talia / Carslie
18. Panos
34. Gawn
50. Thorpe

PSD: Looks like Joel MacDonald
but I would mind Jurrah's cousin I think his name is Liam Patrick.

1 - Scully
2 - Trengove
11 - Vardy
18 - Panos
34 - Gawn
50 - Thorp
PSD - Macdonald
Rookie - Patrick
Rookie - Meesen

Our #11 & #18 I'm not too fussed, I would like Nathan Vardy at the club but I can't see him being around by #18 (I maintain that Sydney or Port would take him), & all the key forward's in this draft are all quite even, so I'd be happy with any one of them. I really don't care about Newton anymore, so I put Liam Patrick in his place.

I have a feeling Vardy may slip to us at 18 (that's If we don't take Ball, which is highly unlikely anyway)

He very well could, & yeah I doubt we're going to draft Ball. But I figure if Melbourne are aiming on drafting Vardy, they'd probably entertain the idea of drafting him at #11 because I wouldn't put it past Sydney or Port drafting him at #14 or #16.

1. Tom Scully
2. Jack Trengove
11. John Butcher/Aaron Black
18. Nathan Vardy
34. Travis Colyer
50. Liam Patrick

ok im not interested in taking ball at all so im ruling him out.

1. Scully

2. Trengove

11. Talia or Black - I'm not sure which way to go. I like Talia better, but Black is a forward.

18. Vardy - I like the look of Vardy. Although if there are rucks that we can take with either 34 or 50, i would reconsider taking Vardy here and take someone like Carlise or Bastinac.

34. Grimes - Kevin Sheehan said on afl.com that he would be in the first 30 drafted so i'd be taking him here if available. If not, id take Gawn.

50. Thorp - Take thorp here to allow Patrick to be taken in PSD

PSD 1. Patrick

:heart::club::diamond::spade:

Mitch Thorpe injured with possible stress fractures. See Demonology.
I would love to draft:
1. Scully
2. Trengove
11. Black/Black/Black
18. Vardy or Griffiths
34. Callum Bartlett (would be near top 10 before he did his ACL)
50. Gawn, Craig or Grimes

PSD: McDonald

Do not want Luke Ball at any cost.

You've over rated Panos at 18, considering if we take Vardy at 11 (which for mine is to high) there should be one of Black, Talia Carlisle left at 18 who are all better than Panos.

I think there is a good chance we could get him at 18, which i believe is about right, but can see him going 2-3 paces either side of 18.

I just chucked a name in, I'd be happy with Carlisle, Black or anyone of them. Vardy at #11 is probably too high, I do rate him around #16, which is where Port have their third pick, & if they use their first two picks on players like Melksham & Butcher then chances are they'll be looking for a ruckman with their third pick, so if we want him we'd have to take him at #11. Though he could very well slip to #18, not ruling it out at all.

I am condident our FD will get it right

What will make my day is when Port picks Ball at 9

FWIW

Trengove
Scully
Tapscott
Carlisle
Grimes
Daw

PSD 1 Thorp

Tapscott could be the smokey pick of this draft

1. Sculls

2. Trenners

11. The Butch

18. Blacky

34. Big time Temel (anyone who kicks goals in finals is gold)

50. Grimsey mark 2.

Pre Season : Liam's cousin Liam (the Walpiri Wizard's Cuz)

If 11 & 18 don't pan out, grab Temel, move Grimes up and see what's left at No 50.
- You Know it makes sense! - You can't have too many key forwards.

We don't want Ball (he don't want us)
We don't want MacDonald (already got one)
We don't want Thorpe (More injuries than his Uncle Billy)

In fact why would we take anyone's rejects?
Guess what they are rejects for a reason

How many of you jokers had heard of Joel Macdonald 3 months ago?

A scrapper at the best.

Last year we got Liam Jurrah at PSD for god sake!

Raise your vision!

I also knew of him, and how often does a Liam Jurrah pop up in the PSD?

Look at the two previous years for example, Gourdis and Ackland, some real superstars there

We all may have KNEW OF HIM but for god's sake we've delisted 3 or 4 better back flankers ourselves - Buckley, Whelan, Wheatley.

They were delisted to make room for our 19 YO's, why replace them with someone else's reject, who has disposal problems.

No deal has been done.
My tip - He is going to Richmond or Gold Coast!

Hes definately a better player than those 3.

Not another Jurrah but if he takes the next step will be a very good ball carier/runner. Hes the best option out there imo.

Who would you take?.....

Pick #1 - Tom Scully
Pick #2 - Jack Trengove
Pick #11 - Aaron Black
Pick #18 - Brad Sheppard
Pick #34 - Max Gawn/James Craig (Either one would be fine with me)
Pick #50 - Dylan Grimes (If gone then Mitch Thorp as his latest injury may see him available at #50)

PSD#1 - Joel MacDonald (I'm not really a fan but he is the best available besides full time cripple Jesse Smith who plays football on the side occasionally)

1 and 2- we know the results of those already

11 Vardy
18 Talia/Black/ (Panos or Temel if those two gone)
34 Temel/Panos
50 Dick/Ah Chee/Laidlaw/Daw(speculative pick, or pass and leave open for second PSD pick)

PSD McDonald

You obviously have no idea about him yourself to make such a dumb comment.

He's a ball magnet much in the mould of Dane Swan and i wouldnt be suprised if he got his chance rotating through the midfield with us. A damn sided better than Buckley or Wheatley and im pretty sure Wheels was a back pocket or maybe i wasnt watching close enough?

Put Joely Mac in your supercoach team next year he will rack up some serious points:thumbsu:

Don't see the Dane Swan similarity at all. Macdonald is a handy half back flanker, who if add to our team should go okay, but if we don't go wtih him then I won't be too worried.

According to footywire.com Macdonald averaged 79.3 supercoach points last year, hardly anything to write home about.

He also is unnaccountable in many games. They tried him as a key back with limited sucess. The more I learn the more I would rather develop our own backmen.

Have a look at the year before masterbate. He was 100pts a week type player.

He moves like Swan, similar body and height and can rack up some big numbers. Maybe hasnt got the tank of Swan but that can be worked on.
