Well its medal day!! Stroke at the National. Moonah course. Perfect conditions. Wind? a light zephyr which was described as refreshing. Putting on fire. Really everything went well. Usually stroke scares the shit out of me, but only lost 2 balls, one on a 155 par 3 which resulted in a fantastic score of 10. yeah!

net 80, some 10 or so strokes behind the winner. shitloads of gun players thankfully played on the Ocean course off the blacks today so gave us mere mortals a chance on ours.

Monthly Medal day for us too at City Golf Club. I haven't seen it set up that tough in years. I duly responded with my first ton in a long time. Finished 18 shots over hcp!

due to health issues i pulled out of todays round on the Old course.

My home track has been closed for 5 weeks now and this is the latest update..

The Greens' Committee undertook an inspection of the course on Sat Oct 8th. While the recent drainage works have moved a deal of water the course is still very wet. There is way too much grass for the fairway mower so we will begin trailing different mowing regimes as of 10.00 am Mon 10th Oct, everyone welcome to assist. If we are able to get a run of clear, sunny days play could be possible on Sat Oct 22nd however, the match committee has decided to keep the course closed until further notice.

If ap2s are worth ~160-170 per iron...Miura's I think are considerably more expensive than that. Probably 1250-1500+ for a set 4-PW? USD that is.

Looks like they'll be working on the accommodation forever.

Not sure i could get used to hitting low 4irons 160 into the wind then hitting 160 with a 9 iron with the wind.

But really its better than being at work
