You may be a superb driver of the golf ball!

Play it in a stiff cross breeze when your driver is not co-operating and you quickly become aware that on pretty much every non par 3 you are dead on both sides of every fairway.

Played 9 this morning. Think I parred the two hardest holes after giving myself decent birdie chances, then doubled the two easiest holes, including a par 5 and drivable par 4. Golf hey.

Welcome to our club (the old or average golfers club)......we have 180 to 200m in most the time.

I’m well and truly in the average golfers club, but I would normally have less than that in.

The problem is I’m on the wrong fairway.

Played yesterday and broke 90 for the first time with an 86, and also the first round without any lost balls! Lessons are definitely paying off! Still got to work on putting though as I had 39 putts with no birdies from 9 greens in regulation. My long putting seems to be okay and I think my putting stroke is okay too, I just seem to be terrible at short putts, not sure if I can't read them or line them up or what. I even had a three putts from about 6 feet which was pretty bad obviously.

Driven past it. Looks nice. Was just looking at their website, is there only 13 holes? They have a green fee rate for 13 holes which is what made me ask.

I put a new putter in my bag yesterday and was definitely taking more time to ensure i made all those 1-3fters lol

Social comp at Whaleback yesterday. Absolutely packed. Had to wait 30 minutes to tee off. Tee boxes and greens were trampled paddocks. With more public golf courses closing and more people playing things are just going get worse. Rosehill, Burswood, Glen Iris, Freo public, and soon some of The Vines [emoji17]

2 over for 18. Played real well. My playing partner and I had 5 birdies on the front nine. Not far away from being under par, missed a few chances. (pitch and putt lmao)
