This may have been done before but I am interested in hearing about people's pets.

My family has a Siberian Husky whom I adore, her name is Lulu. However as I live interstate I dont see her much. My husband and I are hoping to get a puppy next year, probably a PUG.

Of my own, I have a cat, Minty, and she's about 6 years old. We also have two other cats, Jaffa and Gremlin, who are only a year old, and Gremlin may as well be mine.

We also have a sheepdog Jack. Purebred kelpie, I think, but I couldn't tell you. We have a horse Choco, two budgies - Jimmy and JJ, a couple of guinea pigs, and goldfish.

Over the last two years we've lost three pets though - two cats, Tempy and Billy, and a sheepdog Coco. :(

i dont have any pets at the mo. i had 2 get my little sausage dog put down a couple of weeks ago, and our dobie died a couple of months ago.

we're getting another one in march, and its gunna be called TAZZA :D

I have an unidentifiable dog, which some suggest might actually be a cat, as he burries his business.

I absolutely LOVE horses.....I told my husband I want to get a small property so I can get a horse.

Sorry to hear of people losing their pets - that hurts I know. I dont know what I'll do when we eventually lose Lulu. She is my buddy and kept me company when I was home after major surgery in 2000 (try spending 3 months only you and the dog). I think thats why I am so keen for one now, I miss the companionship something chronic.

i've got me an overweight beagle, he is so cute, called Jacky
a kitty called, ginger meggs (most creative name ever for a ginger cat, wouldn't you say)
and a canaries, one called andy, after mcleod, and we just got a new one and called it roo, after ricciuto

Hey Tinker i also have a siberian Husky!! His name is Rus (Rusty) He is 3 years old ..... very adoreable (and protective) but reallllyyyyy GREAT company.

I have a mish-mush cat called Milo, I got her when I was 7 so Milo and Otis was my favourite movie at the time :p

She's a real pain in the arse though; she went over the fence yesterday and came back COVERED in hundreds of burrs. Spent the next 3 hours picking them off her outside in the 38 degree heat

I'll miss her when I move out though (in 3 weeks) my flatmate and I are apparently going to have Sea Monkey's (ie. scum in water) as our pet  :(

I have a black labrador named Pepsi and three brown hooded rats nameds Brett, Elliot and Scooter. Why did I name one of them Elliot? He keeps on stealing loose change from my computer desk whenever I put him there, and he always scurries back to his cage and gives the coin(s) to Brett.

I used to have a hamster when I was a kid, but the little bugger kept on biting anyone that tried to handle him... they're not friendly animals.

Do they mush it?

nope but Mum is always saying she wants to. The problem with Lulu is that she is VERY undisciplined and has no sense of obeying commands, she basically runs Mum's house according to her whim.

She is incredibly loyal though and loves a cuddle and a run.

She wont shake, she wont sit or do anything she is told but I have managed to teach her to 'hold hands'. I'm not allowed to shake her hand, we just hold them. And I am the only person she'll do it for too!!

Ahhr fair enough. Sounds like a cute pooch!

Yes and she knows how to work it too......she is smarter than she lets on but lets Mum think she's clueless.

Last week Mum was telling me that she opened the back door of the car and said to Lulu they were going to Doggie Wash and she came out and the dog was sitting up in the back seat waiting!!!

When she sees Mum pick up the leash she also starts jumping like a po-go stick.

Two Jack Russels, a cat, and two fish in our outside pond which I suspect are now food for the insects seeing as I haven't fed or seen them for a couple of months.

We had a cat which adopted us. We took it to the pound after asking all our neighbours if it was theirs. We figured the distressed owners would go there to find it. After a couple of weeks we claimed it, and had it neutered, vaccinated the works.

A week later a neighbour who is not very friendly with anyone else claimed it was theirs, so we gave it back minus the crown jewels:D Karma.

That's a veritable food chain! At least you only have to feed the budgies and horse.;)
