C: Gibbs Judd Simpson
HF: Houlihan Waite Russell
F: Betts Fevola Fisher
R: Cloke Stevens Murphy
I/C: Hampson Grigg Carrazzo Hadley

how do you have russell starting on the ground ahead of carrots?

IF Kruezer is taken #1 in the draft he will not play round 1. IF Cotchin is taken, which a lot of posters on this board tend to think, he is a high chance of playing round 1, pending his pre-season.

I didnt have Betts in my side because for me, he tries hard but doesn't put enough results on the board consistently to hold his spot. He kicked 21 goals 11 behinds this season from 17 games and 5.1 of it came in round 22. He is a good little player but needs to find more consistency before I rate him as highly as some here do.

That is because he has been playing forward pocket only where it's much harder to find consistency.

He is our only crumbing forward so is a must for round 1.

Try this:
Scotland O'hAlpin Thornton
Bower Hartnett Gibbs
Walker Stevens Waite
Simpson Fevola Hadley
Cloke Fisher Betts
Ackland, Judd, Murphy
Inter: Wiggins, Hampson, Russell, Carrazzo
Wiggins could easy be a good leading FF. He's as strong a mark as Fev and is quick on the lead. (Could be a few cm taller)
Waite would be extremly hard to match up on the wing and could play both offensive & defensive.
Fev can kick a ball from the centre, so lets get him into the play more often at CHF
FF can be rotated between Fish and Wiggins. It would drive the opposition mad trying match ups on either player.

Fev doesn't have the tank to play CHF and Wiggins shouldn't be in the side. Waite is also much better in a KP.

My 22 (although i think I've already posted about 5 times recently)

B: H.Scotland S.O'hAilpin M.Jamison
HB: S.Grigg B.Thornton A.Walker
C: K.Simpson A.Carrazzo B.Gibbs
HF: M.Murphy J.Waite R.Houlihan
F: E.Betts B.Fevola B.Fisher
OB: C.Cloke C.Judd (VC) N.Stevens (C)
I/C: S.Hampson R.Hadley R.Jackson (T) P.Bower

Analysis:

Waite
I'd prefer Waite down back but until someone steps up I think he will play forward. If match ups dictate it though (teams that have 2 gun talls), I'd move him there.

Long term though I'd like him to play CHB and maybe Kreuzer/Hartlett CHF because we just look so much more stable with him back there.

Setanta
Fulback has always been his best position and he is the one guy on our list who has looked comfortable against the monsters.

Grigg
People may say I'm overrating Grigg but I truly believe that he is a player who can step up over the PS and establish himself in the 22. My tip for the NRS.

Showed a lot last year in an injury interrupted season, particularly in the Melbourne and port games . He also has a real desire, great versatility and was on fire for the Ants before getting injured.

Midfielders
You will notice that as part of this side I have included 13 genuine mid fielder's. It is important in todays game to have that foundation of running players.

I think a real problem for us last year was often going in with a top heavy side that ran out of legs.

Hadley
Will be a gun for us if he gets fit.

To all people who have Carrazzo on thier benches - hes simply not going to start on the bench so post something realistically
