The latest news is Yze is struggling this week. Apparently did liagments in his ankle in the last 30 seconds of the game last week. could be out 2 - 3 weeks.

I think we would have known if he did his ligaments in his ankle. I did one of my ligaments about a month ago and you would definately know. maybe its something else

The mind games have started.

Not a bad ploy by the Demons brains trust........give Ooze a couple of days away from the training track to freshen him up and start spreading rumors that he has an injury.

And lo and behold who pops up on Monday and rips the Pies a new one.

None other than the mighty number 13.

Can't wait for this one.

News just in:

Ron Barassi will make his long awaited 40 year return to the Melbourne line up, starting on the ball. Word is he's fit and ready to rumble with the Pies on Monday. What a centreline!

Bruce - Barassi - Green.

Word is that Allan Jackovich has been in the gym and has lost 102 kg and is now back to a reasonable playing weight. With yze out he's a certainty to line up against the pies. JACKO!

(I think that's part of the joke)

Anyway, latest news is that Nicho was spotted taking one shot at goals at training. My tip is he'll start at FF with Neita on the bench.

Please no. I'd rather Holland.
But if you're being serious Marns, it would make some sense. There isn't really a logical matchup for him unless Fraser or C Cloke started forward, but they would swap out and Nicho would get stuck on Rusling and would get ripped apart in pace. Hope it's not real though, I'd be much more comfortable with Neita at FF and Nicho on C Cloke/Fraser or on the bench.

yeah either c.cloke or fraser will play up forward with rusling.

is fergy quick enough to go with either tarrant or rusling?

with tarrant playing from half forward then having a free ticket to run back in the 50 o up on the wing who do u's think will pick him up?

coz if no one can match him then theres trouble coz we seem to play best when his doing that.

Fergy would be able to match Tarrant for pace but I don't know about strength. I would say when Tarrant leads up the ground Fergy takes him and when he is closer to goal Nicho would be on him. Rusling may be a problem but if we have to we can block his leads. If we are to win our midfield must get on top early.
I'm tipping us by 15 points (Partly biased opinion).
