A good trade leaves both clubs a bit unsure.Looks like opinion divided on both Carlton and Cats boards.
Probably a bit unders but you gotta keep moving forward.
Churn and burn SOS, churn and burn.
Geelong have given Carlton their 2017 first-round pick and the Blues parted ways with their 2017 second-round pick.

Fmd...anyone got Smedts draft history?
He can keep tagging Murphy......to the waiting room at the Carlton Physio's office, to the Carlton rehab room, at the specialist's rooms, to the Epworth hospital etc. Potentially also take under his wing the rest of our young recruits, Marchbank, Pickett and co. He could lead a peloton of those 1 leg scooter things the rehab group drives around the boundary at Ikon park. The only good game smedts ever had was against us where he tagged murphy and kicked 3 goals on him. Maybe that's why we took him so he can never tag Murphy again.
we got reamed.
smedts will be delisted within 2 years.

Umm... surprised at the sadness in here, I reckon Geel paid overs.
FWIW, I would have liked Smedts for at least another year. He seems to have finally matured, is ready to play good footy, and Matty Scarlett rates him. Just needs opportunities. Is classy, has been affected by untimely injuries, but finally found form and fitness end VFL season.
Not sure what Tuohy brings.
We can move that pick to whoever we want, as we did in the Henderson deal last year?

It was a fair deal. No body good screwed over.
Seems no one is happy unless the other team gets absolutely pillaged in a trade scenario.
That's cause your knowledge of Tuohy fits inside an amoeba's bumhole.Umm... surprised at the sadness in here, I reckon Geel paid overs.
It wasn't him. It was the bloke they traded to Richmond two years agoHe was injured, then drafted 15th overall, then injured, injured, kicked 3 on Murph, injured, injured, and traded to the Blues. Then he was injured before being delisted.

Did you happen to miss this:-
They wouldn't have delisted him, he wasn't even out of contract. Are you serious? If anyone thinks this was a good trade they are off their rocker, We just gave Tuohy away for a 3-5 pick upgrade and a guy who would have delisted.
SOS with a future pick is like that guy at that festival who traded up from a cigarette to a bag of cokeThat's cause your knowledge of Tuohy fits inside an amoeba's bumhole.
