It's time for Chrisco to branch out into other holidays like hallmark have done and have payment plans for all the major public holidays. Surely there is an appetite for the great unwashed to pay $2 a week for 52 weeks and at easter you receive 2 family blocks of cadbury chocolate (slightly past it's use by date) and a couple of mars bars thrown in - unquestionable value and so convenient for the time poor or make that simply poor family !

I work as a postie, and these chrisco catalogues are being delivered to a substantial amount of houses in the areas I deliver to. They are a pain in the arse to deliver due to their size, but I still laugh when I shove one in the letterbox after reading this thread.

So lets check this out.

Outrigger hotel, according to their website, is $135/night for a City View twin when staying for 7 nights. So that's $945.

Ignoring the lols of apparently Brisbane-Gold Coast involving air fares, lets look at it from Sydney: $100 pp each way max. Probably less but lets go $100. That's $400.

And a $50 hotel voucher each day which would buy you $20 worth of food. So that's $140.

At $1106pp that's just a lazy ~$700 profit on each bargain Gold Coast package.
