Probably too painful, and maybe worthy of another thread, but what about the most costly misses. Though Twiggy got that one to level the scores in 77, he missed the first set shot of the last quarter to take us out to 33 pts. Moore also missed a sitter when we were about 7 points down before Twiggy levelled the scores.

Rocca in 02 GF. One could argue he didn't miss, but it was deemed to be a point. Liccas miss in the 02 GF late in last quarter before it was sealed at the other end will always haunt me. He didn't make the distance as it slewed off the boot, but the kick that came in via Scotland I think was terrible, he had 2 players free the other one being Nick Davis who would have been a much better chance to score.

So that was why he was Crying after the GF because he thought he cost that Flag?

Fair chance. He was about 45 directly in front and got nowhere near it.

It was about 7 years after that I saw it again, and it's one of those what-if moments.

Another one in that match was after Fraser put us ahead in the last quarter, Bucks had broken clear from the next centre bounce. He just couldn't get himself within kicking distance, slewed it a bit where Tarrant got man-handled by Darryl White but didn't get a free about 10 metres out. Instead of going 2 kicks ahead, Brisbane cleared, ball went up other end and Lynch got a dubious free to put them back in front before Liccas miss.

That game burns more than 2011 for me. Maybe I was somewhat comforted by 2010, but in 2002 I was gutted and all those instances stay with me, despite hardly seeing any of the match again.

I say 2002 hurts more because go how great the Story would of Been. Coming from last in 1999 and been in no where land since 1994. Then go on to Beat the Best Side in the AFL of the 2000’s.

Plus we got Screwed by the Scumps in 2002

Yeah I think you're right, it would have been a fairy tale. Those were lean years in mid 90s particularly getting flogged by the scum for about 5 years in a row. This would have righted all those wrongs.

That's right the tarrant hold was a free kick that was not paid, and the lynch was not a free that was paid. We were robbed in that moment. Add to that the roccca goal that was declared a behind and we were comfortable winners. Still mad.,

I remember being about seven or eight watching Daicos tear brisbane a new one, Think he kicked 13.
He kicked them from everywhere it was like he had it on a string.

Dids was good but nothing like Peter Daicos here hoping his sons didn't fall far from the tree.

Jeez Krakouer was such an exciting player to watch

Shame it didn't last long
And a specialist in just about everything according to BT.

The Foot Candy Specialist, The MCG Specialist, The Friday Night Specialist. Am I missing any?

please no more bad stuff. this is such a happy thread.

Here's a few from a guy that hasn't got a mention yet

Love this package.. What a great day it was.

Geez he payed well against the bombers

5 page and Paul Medhurst hasn't been mentioned

How could we forget Medders?

Hard to believe really. In his AA year he was without doubt the premier forward in the AFL. He did some amazing things and was special to watch.

I rate Medders, Leon and Dids as the best Pies small forwards I've seen (live) so far in my time. Right now I am looking forward to what Jamie Elliott can produce as he is another one of the "special" crew.

Man this is a complete blast from the past seeing some of these goals. Has TG posted in this thread? Probably not hard to be negative here.
