I thought he / they could?
I might be confused. But I don’t think existing afl players are in the National draft at all. Unless delisted before?

I think in situations like this before (rate it doesn’t get done) is that they either stay or have to go through pre season draft. Not National? Am I wrong?

Draft question, what draft range is Jaxon Binns likely to be?

Did score well in Draft combine, and seems a decent goal kicking outside midfielder, probably a type we need to have in development...

No idea but I reckon he'll be given all the dirty jobs.

As it stood earlier this morning the thoughts were that a trade wouldn't be done. I'm not sure they blink.

They think they can convince him to stay. They had no intention to trade him was my interpretation.

I wonder what effect they think coercion has on a player's motivation and cooperation?

Yes you’re wrong. See Luke Ball.

Wright is truly out of his goddamn mind, lol. How many times can someone say 'I'm just not that into you'? :tearsofjoy:

To enter the ND you set the terms and the club must be able to fit it within the cap.

Say Ollie says 1 year at 500k.

This. Graham Wright has studied his Malthouse. The Ox is slow, but the earth is patient.

The thing is you're cutting off your nose to spite your face.

A touch cryptic perhaps

Oh damn.

I love the aggressive nature of moving up two spots to get their target but gee I hope it’s Menegola not Tuohy being dangled as the carrot.

**Did Bailey Humphrey test at the combine? Maybe he ain't that fast...

Also, The Australian has Player write-ups:

FYI - Humphrey wasn't tested...

Several top-10 draft prospects, including Will Ashcroft, George Wardlaw, Harry Sheezel and Bailey Humphrey, didn’t take part in testing due to injury.

Honest question, how do you see your camp reacting if/when Ollie nominates for the draft?
Honest answer: not sure about most supporters, but I'd be happy be held out knowing that the junk pick wasn't worth it. We take a gamble on him resigning and that's worth a shot.

I mentioned him back in July .. Almost the best runner in the draft close enough to it. Foot skill might be a bit doubtful but lately has been very good..
